December 4, 1752 Phillip Pritchett, executor for James Flannakin will (James was a neighbor), Beaufort Co, NC, Will Book C p 13-14, Joshua and James Pritchet witnesses. James was the son of Richard Flanakin who wrote a will Sept 5, 1739; June Court, 1741. In Richard's will it names brother Abraham Pritchett and son James as executors.

1755 Tax List Beaufort Co, NC: White 1, blacks 1 Tax imposed on white males 16 or over and all blacks 12 or over.

1764 Tax List Beaufort Co, NC, White 1, blacks 3 Tax imposed on white males 16 or over and all blacks 12 or over.

. Patent Book 23, 6378, p 183: Joshua Pritchett, October 26, 1767, 75 acres in Beaufort on the W. side of S. dividing Creek, joining the mouth of a little creek a little below sd. Pritchetts house, Pritchetts old patented land and James Flannakin.
