Arthur Jordan's will proved January 3, 1698/99, Surry Co, VA, names his sons George and River Jordan, son and daughter Washington, granddaughter Elizabeth Jordan and grandson, Arthur Washington.

His father Richard Washington's will dated 9 November 1724 and proven 19 May 1725, Surry Co, VA, Will Book 7, page 583
"to son Arthur Washington all the remainder below Thomas Washington on Blackwater 300 acres not to sell or lease for seven years. Also 200 acres between George Washington and Flaggy Run. 6 leather chairs and tables, chest, etc also three negros."

In his mother's will Elizabeth Jordan, reliq. of Richard Washington, deceased, was recored in Surry Co, VA, Will Book 8, page 496 (undated) and proven 12 May 1735 in Surry Co, VA.
"to son Arthur one large Bible and common prayer book etc."
