The Last Will and Testament of Isaiah Byrd of the
State of Mississippi Neshoba County

I, Isaiah Byrd, being in a low state of health but of a perfect mind and memory through the goodness of God Amen. Do make and constitute this my last will and testament in manner and form following viz

1st I do hereby appoint my beloved wife Agnes N Byrd my Executrix to my Estate

2nd I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Agnes N Byrd all my Real and personal estate consisting of one eighth of Land known and designated as the West half of SW quarter Section No Two in Township No Nine north of Range No thirteen East containing seventy nine and 79/100 acres, one bay mare, one gray mare, one yoke of oxen and cart, three cows and their calves and a two year old heifer, my stock of hogs during her natural life or widowhood for the purpose of raising my family of children and to discharge all my just debts after which I wish an equal division with my wife and children remaining with me. Signed sealed and acknowledged this the sixth day of August in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven.
