In memoirs written by Stella S. Berry, it mentions that James Hall had a daughter that married Lee Brown of Shaw's Point, and that her mother was James' 3rd wife, Elizabeth Davis. Since James and Elizabeth did not marry until 1838, and because of the fact that Nancy M. Hall is listed in the 1850 Macoupin Co. census in the same household as Thomas Whitworth and his wife Sarah (Booton), I believe that Polly Booton was Nancy's mother.
