Notes for Adolph Brecht

July 9, 1909, Oxnard Courier, Personals: Adolph Brecht of Visalia has come to Oxnard to resume work at the Oxnard sugar factory after an absence of several years. He has recently been the head man in the the filter press department of the Visalia factory of the Pacific Sugar Corporations.

Email from Claire Morris February 2, 2004: "I remember Dallas saying, and I assume that it came from Uncle Volney that Brecht was mean and possessive. Edith Lucinda and Brecht had a store for a while in El Rio. I think that it first was L.V. Kennedy's. She had to hide candy to give to the twins and my mother because he made such a fuss about it."
