Know all men by these presents that we James Shuff all of the State of Tennessee and county of Montgomery we held and firmly bound unto the state of Tennessee in the sum of Fifteen hundred dollars for the payment of which we bind ourselves our heirs and Executors and Administrators jointly and severaly firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and actions this 5th day of April 1858. The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above herein James Shuff administrator of all and singular the goods chatles rights and credits of James Shuff (sic, should be James Allman) deceased do make or cause to be made and true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods chatles rights and credits of the deceased which have or shall come into the hands knowledge or possession of the said Jas Shuff or any person or persons for him and the same as made to exhibit or cause to be exhibited into an insuing county court the same goods, chatles rights and credits of the deceased at the time of his death which at any time hereafter may come into the hands of any person or persons for him do well and truly administer according to law and further do make a cause to be made a true and just account of the administration within two years from and after the date of these presents and all this seal and assignee of said administrative account the same being first examined and allowed agreeably to law shall deliver and pay unto such person or persons respectively as the same shall be due pursuant to the true intent and meaning of this administration and if it shall appear that any will or Testament was made by the deceased an Executor a Executrix thereto named do exhibit the same unto court making it allowed and approved of. Accordingly if the said James Shuff thereunto be requested or receives and delivers said letters of administration apr?tion of such testament being first hand and made in a said court. Then this obligation to be said else to remain in full form and effect

Personally appeared before me Peter Oneal Clerk of the County Court of said county. R. J. Allman and George W. Allman brothers of Perry F Allman said Perry F Allman deceased received his distribution share of the Estate of James Allman from James Shuff administrator and gave his receipt therefore and (word scratched out) they further state that the papers of said James Shuff were kept in a negligent and were liable to be mislaid or destroyed and that his share of said Estate was $97.88

We acknowledge ourselves bound unto the state Of Tennessee in the sum of one hundred and ninety-seven dollars and seventy-eight cents to be void if Levinia Jackson who has this day received of James Shuff Administrator the sum of $98.88, her share of the Personal estate of the said James Allman Decd. Should pay or refund her rateable part of any debt or debts against said Estate which may here after be sued for, recovered, or otherwise made to appear. This 25 day of January 1860.
