Widow of George Blayton. Surry Co Order Bk 1691-1718, p 240, as Blighton. Francis Clements and Lydia his wife were administrators of the estate of George Blayton. On May 2, 1706 Capt. Francis Clements patented 2000 acres on the south side of Main Black Water Swamp, naming among the headrights Thomas Blayton, his wife Joane, and children Thomas, George, Elizabeth and Sarah (Patent Bk. 9, 725)
January 12, 1724/5 Lydia relinquished dower rights in land sold by George Bleighton in Prince George County and September 29, 1733 when she purchased land on which she then lived in Martin's Brandon Parish.
