January 7, 1895, Houston Co, TN, Book 10, p 331, SN and NA sells JB Allman and tract of land in District 7, could this be Josephine B (?), book 10 says J.B. and his heirs. In Houston Co, TN, Book 8, p 60-61, October 8, 1901, states that the deed being recorded is a substitute for a deed executed by us on the 7th day of January 1895, to J H Brickhouse and wife M F Brickhouse which has been lost or destroyed, the object and purpose of this execution of the instrument is to restore to them the rights to the above described land that they took under original deed.

Clarksville Leaf Chronicle, September 9, 1937, p 1: Houston Farmer Called By Death
S.N. Allman, 77, prominent citizen and farmer of the Muster Ground Community died at his home Tuesday night after a prolonged illness of senile infirmities. Mr. Allman was a lifelong resident of Houston county.
He is survived by his wife, four daughters. Mrs. Rook Rodgers, Mrs. Claude Thompson, Mrs. George Jackson, and Miss Laura Allman, all of the home community, two sons, James R. and S. Herbert of Hot Springs. Ark.
Funeral services were conducted from the Cedar Valley Church by the Rev. J.R. Wright, of the Erin M.E. Church, assisted by the Rev. Blanton L. Cook, of the Erin Nazarene church, Wednesday afternoon.
