Moved from Rockingham Co, Virginia, to the present Mechlenburg Co, NC, several years before the Am. Rev. Tradition Claims that John Brewster, Sr and his seven sons all served in the Rev. Proof of military service has been established for him and for five of his sons. It is believed that Samuel Brewster and Henry Brewster served in the Rev., but proof has not been established.
