p. 197, December 31, 1948, "Josiah Nabors was born in Ireland in 1820, died in 1903. He went to South America and came to Georgia. He married Mrs. Sarah Jenkins Heaton born in Greenville county, S.C. in 1818; died 1901. Mr. and Mrs. Nabors moved from Rockmart, GA., to Sand Mountain near Elrod's Mill, and moved from there to Georgia Mountain and settled near Mr. Carmel church. Mr. and Mrs. Nabors are laid to rest at Mt. Carmel cemetery."
