John's will is in the Virginia State Library. It is dated December 11, 1736. He gave his plantation and half of its land to his son, Peter. He gave the remainder of his estate to his wife. The will was presented to the court on February 16, 1736 and inventory was made on March 12, 1736. On May 10, 1756, Elizabeth made her will and it was presented to the Court on August 17, 1756.
