p 210 "High Shoals Primitive Baptist Church was organized December 15, 1837, at the house of E. Phillips by a small group of men and women who had withdrawn from Rocky Creek Church. The list of charter members includes: Kinchen Morgan (Mary Polly Morgan English's brother), Green English, Sarah Morgan (possibly Kinchen's wife), Telitha Phillips (John Jefferson English's wife's mother), and Mary English (Green's wife).
