A lot of John Hill's land came from the Camps, and that home place mgiht well have come that way. IT is downtown now, (Winder, Georgia) but I can remember when a big old 2 story house sorta box-shaped (red brick) was still standing just to the right of the highway leading from Winder to Athens - it was very near the old John Hill home - not right at it, but near enough that they were, or could have been, on the same tract of land. And that old brick house was the home of Abner Camp, Annie Naomi's brother.
Annie Naomi Camp and her husband John Hill are buried in unmarked grave - their son, Carter Hill, is buried also, in family cemetery about 2 miles from Winder, Georgia. Cemetery is in Yargo Park Reservation. Annie Naomi is buried between her son, Carter Hill and her husband, John Hill.
