John md. Rebecca Barksdale, 1849; Nathaniel; Martha md. William Jameson, had dau. named Martha A. Jameson; Nancy Malone.
Don't know if John Alexander had a son John mentioned above. By the 1860 census Etheridge Dist. Jones Co, GA, p 569, Clementine (30, b VA) is living with her mother Martha (60, b VA), Ann Malone (35, b VA) and Spencer Burgy (11, b GA)

Houston Co, Georgia Will Book A 1827-1855, compiled by Central Georgia Genealogical Society , lists a John Burgay, Will written January 13, 1853, no probate date, p 287, wife Rebecca, daughter Frances, the wife of George Benton, who was "born to me" by a former marriage, executors wife Rebecca and her father Gillie Wright. Could this be a son of John?

Source Max H. Williams, deloutre@@yahoo.com: I do not know all of the siblings of John Burgay (b. 1785); however, he apparently had a brother named Levin, who died young, as an orphan of Levin Burgay is found on the Monroe County tax list in 1827. John's son Levin, my ancestor, was probably named for his uncle, John's brother Levin. Other likely siblings were a William Burgay, Jr., an Alzadia Burgay, and a Thomas G. Burgay.
