Enlisted at Longstreet, Pulaski Co, GA in Company F, 7th Division of the Georgia Militia. Served 11 months, Discharged at end of "Confederate Wat" - Civil War - Mary 1865. His militia left Macon and joined the 7th GA in Atlanta. He died Dec. 21, 1895, Saturday night before Christmas.
