Vol 12, p 66-67: February 4, 1722 Voted and ordered that Hannah Hernden, widow of Thomas Hernden, deceased shall have full power with the advice and consent of her brother in law Mr. William Hernden, to place and find out any of her children and to such places as the said William Hernden shall think proper and by his allowance, and also to manage the whole affairs of the estate left by her said deceased husband, with the advice and consent of the said WIlliam Hernden who is to render an account to the town council or their sucessors when legally called there to.
Vol 12, p 38-39: August 20, 1722 This day the Inventory of the estate of Thomas Hernden deceased was brought before the council which was by them approved, but by reason the widow Hannah Hernden, his wife, was not provided with bonds men for her administration upon said estate and praying the liberty there of the council is adjourned.
