In the name of God Amen: I Sarah Brickhouse of the State and County aforesaid, do publish this my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say ---


First - I give and bequeath unto my daughter Lydia Brickhouse, one bead & furniture, the table furniture one pot, one chest and linnen wheel, all my cattle, all my geeas and Slays, & one sow I also give her one bead which is part frinle ---


2d - I give my daughter Nancy Sawyer one bead & one linnen wheel ---


3d - I give unto Jno. Nichols one shilling ---


4th - I give unto my daughter Rebecca Banks one shilling ---


5th - I give unto my daughter Ann Mary Hopkins heirs one shilling ---


6th - I give unto my three sons Peter Brickhouse, Samul Brickhouse & Major Brickhouse all my bees to be equally divided amongst them ---


7th I give unto my son Major Brickhouse all my hogs (except one sow I have given to my daughter Lydia) I also give him one falling leaf table & one case of bottles ---


8th - I give unto my son Samul Brickhouse one big pot & one big dish & the bead & furniture which he has in possession & one case bottles ---


9th - I give to my son Caleb Brickhouse the five stock of bees he now has in possession and one bead & furniture at my death ---


10th - The property not given away I want my executor to sell and pay my debts out of the proceeds: the balance if any after pay my debts to be equally divided among Lydia Brickhouse Samul & Major Brickhouse ---


I constitute and appoint my friend Jos. Alexander my executor to this my last will & testament. In witness I have hereto set my hand & seal this 19 of Jany 1837.
