Notes for Daniel Browne

The inventory of his estate was presented November 10, 1710 (EPR, Vol 7, p 17.

Daniel Brown's lands were laid out at Wesquadomsett, not far from the lands of the Hearntons and there his sons settled. But his home was situated in the "Neck" as the land south of Rochambeau Avenue between Providence and Seekonk Rivers was called. As early as 1672, he owned lands north of the Inman Purchase near Loquassuck. He also owned lands in Glocester. Administration of his estate was granted to his widow, Alice.
