p 210 "High Shoals Primitive Baptist Church was organized December 15, 1837, at the house of E. Phillips by a small group of men and women who had withdrawn from Rocky Creek Church. The list of charter members includes Telitha Phillips.

From "A Sketch of the Burney Family" by Thomas J. Burney: TILLITHA WALKER:
My mother's youngest sister, married Elijah Phillips, raised a large family in Monroe County. The oldest daughter married Dr. Phillips. Most of the children are somewhere west in Georgia, Alabama, or Texas; I know but little of them. The family resided for many years near the falls of the Towaliga. My uncle represented Monroe County several sessions in the legislature.
