Greene Co, GA, Deed Book "M", p 659, John Patrick, Sr. of Jackson Co sold to E. Phillips of Greene County, September 16, 1801, 225 acres of land in Greene County, originally surveyed for Daniel McNeil on July 1, 1784 and granted September 18, 1784.

Source: Wilkes County Incomplete List of Persons Entitled to Draws in 1807 Land Lottery, book located in Wilkes County Georgia courthouse, Capt. Sherrod Malones' district, Elijah Phillips 2 draws as married. The land given out in this lottery was obtained from the Creek Nation, in a treaty concluded at the city of Washington, Nov. 14, 1805, and was added to the counties of Baldwin and Wilkinson. The lots consisted of 202 1/2 acres each.

There was an Elijah Phillips in the 1830 Coweta County Census so this probably not our Elijah.
