Notes for Fannie Jo High Winsor

During the time Kermit was in WWII Fannie Jo and Randy resided in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

A survivor of breast cancer, Fannie Jo was the coordinator for the Reach to Recovery program in Marshall County, Alabama.

Fannie Jo taught at Evans in the Albertville School system, and later served as a home-bound teacher for Child Find, a program to find and serve all handicapped children with a meaningful educational program.

For their 50th wedding anniversary in 1990, 43 members of their extended family attended church at Fannie Jo and Kermit's church the First Methodist in Guntersville, Alabama. At the service 5 of their relatives (Martha Nell, Sue, Jean Ann, Calvin and Poppy) sang "Face to Face", a hymn that had been sung as a solo when Fannie Jo and Kermit attended a church at Athens the Sunday after they were married in 1940.
