Notes for Nancy Miranda Nabours

Nancy was a native of Greenville District, South Carolina. The Nabors are of Picus French Huguenot descent that made early settlement in the Carolinas. She is the 10th child of Mirinda Ragsdale Nabors.

Devote Christian having been a member of the Methodist Church since early life.

Source Church Register of Centerpoint (currently Diamond Methodist), Warrenton Circuit, North Alabama Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South: Register of Members 1884 lists N M Johnston. Lists her as being buried in the Diamond cemetery March 1936.

From Icle Smith's records: Grandmother Nabour's place just across the ridge from Grandmother Johnson's place which joins and is owned by JP and Harvey D Johnson.
Grandmother Nabours grave and marker in the Nabours Cemetery. Grand Dad Nabours doesn't have a marker but was the first to be buried here which is on the Nabours estate and is now owned by one of her great grandsons JP Johnson.
